I'm an experienced Consultant, Entrepreneur and Director.
-
As a consultant, I'm mostly working around the world for Financial Services firms, but not exclusively. I did work for the Oil industry, the automotive sector, the Retail sector, etc.
My work as a trust advisor to the CEOs and CXOs is around several intertwined themes: Strategy, Technology and Change. We live in a world where the pace of Technology changes impacts deeply the customer interactions, the way to deliver the goods and the services and in the way to build and use IT systems. The underpinnings of any strategy are transformed , as well as influencing the People crafting and executing it. Ultimately, the People, at all level, involved need to embrace the changes.
One of my interest is in turn round situations. I did participate to some massive banks resolution plans as well as for insurance companies in the life and P&C environments. These extreme situations are a combination of technicalities from profitability restoration and legal aspects, tough under pressure decision making and people management.

As an entrepreneur, I did create a number of consulting firms in at 6 least countries; and mostly I spent 27 years in the Capgemini Group where, before leaving, I was in charge of the Global Financial services Sector for 8 years. It encompasses working with clients on three continents, and managing about 32 countries and 22000 people. All these years is a story of growth, organic and by acquisitions. I participated in more than 60 acquisitions and mergers, from a corporate perspective and for clients.
-
Along the years, I held or I'm holding many positions as Director. De facto, for now, I've been mostly focusing on growth and conflicts resolution among shareholders.

When a partner at the MAC Group, a strategy firm created by Harvard Business School faculty members, I developed a number of relationships with business schools: HBS, Insead, LBS, IESE and was a part time faculty member at HEC Paris, teaching for 10 years for the Marketing department at the 3rd year of the BA, at the MBA and for Executive Education program
In summary, clients and colleagues praise me for bringing a unique blend of profound consulting experience, detailed sector knowledge (in FS), accomplished operational experience, deep technology understanding, extreme care on people matters and an operational knowledge of internationalisation. Nevertheless, I remain humble and eager to learn. Some even dare to appreciate my sense of humor.
I'm fluent in French, English and Spanish, and , I've relatively good command of Italian, Portuguese and German
